In today’s fluid job market, the length of service given by today’s employee is rapidly decreasing. Employing HR “best practices”, The ANSA Mc AL Group has over the years recognized the loyalty of those who do, by its Long Service Awards Programme. These Awards embrace a service span of over 25 years. In 2001 the Group recognized yeoman’s service of over 250 loyal employees.

Randolph A. De Silva

Randolph A. De Silva: 50 years
Randolph A. de Silva joined Alstons Limited on February 1, 1956 as the accountant for Trinidad Match Limited. Alstons was the major shareholder of Trinidad Match. In 1967 he became assistant secretary of Alstons Limited and in 1970 on the retirement of the then secretary he became Company Secretary of the merged companies Alstons Limited and Charles McEnearney & co. Ltd – McEnearney Alstons Lmited.

He was one of the early members of the McEnearney Alstons Group Employees Credit Union and its first Treasurer in 1976.

Mr. de Silva as the Corporate Secretary and Registrar of ANSA McAL Limited, Director/ Secretary of Alstons Limited and Trinidad Match Lmited and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Alstons Pension Fund. He is the longest serving Corporate Secretary of a public company in Trinidad and Tobago.
