| | Trinidad and Tobago was one of the first Caribbean territories to begin brewing its own lager beer in 1950. Since then, Carib beer has built a solid reputation as being the Caribbean beer, with subsidiaries producing and operating in Trinidad, St. Kitts & Nevis and Grenada. Overtime, key partnerships were formed with international companies such as Guinness, and have resulted in several international brands being produced under license for local and export consumption. These include Guinness stout, Mackeson stout, Ginseng-Up, Carlsberg beer and Smirnoff Ice. |
