Job Summary

The incumbent will prepare, develop, analyse accounting information and provide high quality support service to line managers and/or officers in the Company.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare audit schedules for SDL and manage audit queries.
2. Prepare and ensure payment of quarterly taxes.
3. Compute and submit corporate tax returns and vat returns.
4. Prepare monthly variance analysis reports and branch sales reports.
5. Prepare and processes journals for the general ledger.
6. Review bank reconciliations.
7. Review and approve payment of vendor invoices.
8. Review account registers and schedules.
9. Review accounting for expense reports and other accounting transactions.
10. Approval of charged sales orders.
11. Review and maintain the fixed asset register.
12. Approve the creation of new vendors.
13. Assist with the preparation and calculation of budgets as well as entering budgets into system.
14. Provide support and information to Management Team.
15. Comply with Group’s processes and policies as set out and stated in the ANSA McAL Blue Book.
16. Any other duties which may be assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• ACCA qualified/CPA qualified
• At least three (3) years’ experience in a retail/sales environment, with two (2) years’ experience at a supervisory level
