Job Summary
- Ansa McAL Limited is seeking a results-driven Business Analyst with expertise in finance, budgeting, and strategic planning to play a pivotal role in shaping our Real Estate Sector.
This position is integral to our key decision-making processes, managing financial models and forecasts, and supporting high-level Council and Board meetings.
Job Description
- Lead financial modelling efforts to assess the feasibility of various strategic alternatives, driving critical decisions for the future of the Real Estate sector.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial reports and analysis for high-stakes Council, Performance Management, and other strategic meetings.
- Conduct in-depth research and market trend analysis to provide actionable insights and recommendations to sector leaders.
- Develop detailed business cases, outlining potential risks, costs, and benefits, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic outcomes.
- Drive the annual budgeting process, developing comprehensive budget models and forecasts that align with organizational objectives. Offer insights on budget variances and financial performance.
- Maintain accuracy in financial data management using advanced tools such as PowerBI, ensuring high-quality reports and insights.
- Work closely with the Real Estate Management team to execute strategic initiatives and provide actionable insights on complex business issues.
- Analyze complex data sets and translate them into clear, concise, and actionable conclusions for key stakeholders.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA or professional qualification is highly valued.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or strategic planning, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Advanced knowledge of financial modelling, PowerBI, and data analysis tools. Familiarity with Balanced Scorecard frameworks is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential.
