JOB SUMMARY

The Colour Shop Attendant is responsible for servicing key accounts and customers daily by providing administrative and sales support to the Colour Shop Painters’ Studio as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drives and generates sales at any assigned Colour Shop location, by providing accurate product information and advice to customers across channels, via telephone, in-person, and electronic communication.
  • Receives, processes and tints customer Orders in ERP and Innovatint systems.
  • Captures and records all mis-tints via movement journal entry and mistint spreadsheet.
  • Ensures proper accounting of sales and cash  (Reconciliations, closing of statements).
  • Provides after-sales service to new and existing Color Shop customers, including but not limited to related OTIF activities.
  • Assists with Inventory Management by participating in scheduled cycle counts and stock takes.
  • Monitors and replenishes Colour Shop stock to ensure product availability for business continuity.
  • Monitors Point-of-Sale materials, ensuring that they are neatly displayed and available for consumer use.
  • Ensures the rotation of shelf stock using the First in First Out (FIFO)cycle.
  • Reports/Follows up on all customer complaints and notifies Berger Management of any unresolved customer grievances for further investigation and resolution.
  • Participates in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System to maintain positive relationships with our customers through various channels, including administering Customer Surveys.
  • Reports system and equipment breakdowns to the Maintenance Technician, designate immediately, and/or I.T. Help Desk, to minimize down-time and loss of business.
  • Ensures that workstations, products, and related areas are kept in a clean, presentable in compliance with the Colour Shop standards.
  • Prepares Colour Shop reports as required.
  • Works as a part of the BPBL’s Sales team to implement strategies to achieve targets set.
  • Liaises with external customers/contractors/suppliers as and when necessary.
  • Participates in Training and Development activities as required.
  • Promotes safety awareness and the development of a Safety Culture within the company by engaging in any Environmental, Health, Safety and/or Quality initiatives requested by the company.
  • Complies with the company’s health and safety policies as it relates to safe work methods, the use of personal protective equipment, proper storage of equipment/material and housekeeping.
  • Complies with Ansa McAL Group Policies, including maintaining & compliance with ISO and all other required standards.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 CXCs or 5 CAPE certificates or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills;
  • Math and detail-oriented skills;
