Channel Manager – Export

Job Summary:

  • Oversee and optimize the export channel of the company by developing and implementing strategies to expand market reach consistent with ANSA McAL Group policies, procedures and guidelines to improve channel efficiency and increase overall export sales.

Job Description:

  • Seek and explore international market opportunities, regularly assess, and optimize existing operational processes to ensure they align with the company’s vision and mission.
  • Implement a balanced scorecard approach to continuously monitor and track key performance targets and generate monthly reports for analysis to ensure the achievement of sales objectives.
  • Conduct regular meetings with customers to understand their needs and encourage visits and relationships through solutions such as Joint Business Plans and Loyalty Programs to enhance company relationships with them.
  • Analyze market and macroeconomic trends to determine gross profit and forecast sales volumes to collaborate with the marketing team and implement initiatives aimed at improving commercial performance, sales volumes, and product mix.
  • Manage customer accounts, prioritize collections, and prevent aged accounts receivables and bad debts through thorough documentation of customer interactions, including activities, accounts, and partners to optimize working capital.
  • Conduct monthly pricing reviews, analyze competitive forces, and market conditions to make informed recommendations for price adjustments in alignment with current market trends.
  • Collaborate with teams to drive the completion and launch of innovation projects in the export channel by working closely with Sales Associates to generate market leads and successfully close new deals through collaborative efforts.
  • Perform all other relevant duties as assigned by your management line to ensure optimum operation of the business.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management or Marketing
  • Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Marketing etc.
  • At least seven (7) years’ sales and/or marketing experience
  • Experience with Planning and Budgetary Control.
