Are you ready to take on a pivotal role that spans multiple operations and drives people strategies aligned with business goals? ANSA McAL Chemicals Ltd. is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR functions in Trinidad’s chlor-alkali plant and a transfilling hub in Jamaica.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives in Trinidad and Jamaica.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives to ensure a high-performing workforce.
  • Address HR challenges and opportunities unique to each location, tailoring solutions to meet local and regional needs.
  • Foster a cohesive and motivated culture across diverse teams.
  • Manage day-to-day HR activities, including compliance, employee relations, training, and benefits administration.
  • Champion HR projects and initiatives to align with the organization’s evolving goals.

  • Be a trusted advisor to leadership in Trinidad and Jamaica, providing expert guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance strategies.
  • Shape organizational growth by driving strategic HR programs and maintaining compliance with local laws, collective agreements, and Group policies.
  • Enhance workforce capabilities through tailored training and development plans.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management
  • 5 years human resources and industrial relations experience, at least two (2) at a supervisory level
