Job Summary:

• The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all plant machinery, equipment, and property are properly maintained.

Job Description:

• Maintain all plant machinery and equipment as per the maintenance schedule and quality management system.
• Document maintenance activities in logbooks, checklists, and CMMS as required.
• Conduct mechanical checks on company vehicles.
• Respond promptly to internal maintenance requests, including repairs, cleaning, oiling, carpentry, welding, plumbing, and masonry.
• Address safety-related maintenance issues efficiently.
• Adhere to the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Assist with projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager and Superintendent.
• Report performance variations and completed tasks to the Maintenance Manager.
• Participate in monthly stocktaking and training activities.
• Follow procedures in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards and the ANSA Coatings Limited Quality Manual.
• Maintain 5S standards and participate in related initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

• Mechanical or Technician’s Diploma from a recognized institute, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in repairing manufacturing machines and using mechanical tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and technical expertise.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Drive for results with a focus on achieving excellence.
