Regional Manager- Investment Sales

Functional Assignments:
- Work closely with a team of Primary & Secondary Market Sales & Trading Associates with the common goal to sell for a profit, the facilities being generated and offered by the Desks.
- Always monitor the efficient and accurate execution of all CIB transactions with a strong profit motive, whilst ensuring compliance.
Job Description:
- Contribute to the Bank’s profits through the sales of the Primary Market and Secondary Market desk activities as it relates to fixed income instruments, repos, equity, mutual funds and their derivatives.
- On the Primary Desk, maintain a database of continuous market intelligence, ie: details of all competitive products and services so as to understand further, the market trends, and demands and be better suited for the selling of all deals.
- On the Secondary Desk, along with trading the fixed income instruments across all currencies and regions, monitor daily and understand global trends, global market dynamics via the use of the Bloomberg system and any other market research reports
- Ensure that both the Primary and Secondary Market Desks maintain and execute successfully, timely and profitably, all activity, and within the underwriting guidelines provided, if necessary.
- Recommend and help create new products and services for the team to structure, distribute and trade, based on discussions with the wider market base. Particular emphasis being placed on the Barbados and East Caribbean territories but not limited to.
- Have the willingness and ability to travel Regionally in an aim to build the client base, to promote and expand the AMBL brand.
- Work closely with the Lenders/ Buyers in the markets and bring deals/requests to the Fixed Income trader for fulfilment.
- Work with the CIB Associates in gathering sector specific ideas with which to generate transaction activity.
- Conduct research and development on local, regional and international Investor Markets, maintaining constant interaction with Investor base and travelling where necessary with staff.
- Management of the database of pipeline transactions, deals won/lost, securities sold and to be sold and generally related market intelligence.
- Promote the Group’s products and services via a coordination of activities and training with the other Department Heads.
Basic Qualifications/Education:
- A BSc or other professional qualification or a candidate reading for such.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of Investment Banking experience, with a Sales & Trading or Marketing background.
- A detailed knowledge of the regional Investment Banking issuer markets, tenor requirements and an understanding of fee and yield tolerances.
- Comprehensive understanding of Investor needs
- Solid negotiation and analytical skills to coordinate, negotiate, present, and win and sell investment instruments in a competitive environment.
