Job Summary

  • To co-ordinate the general operations pertaining to the delivery of trucks/machinery for the Commercial Sales department, ensuring that the process is efficient and that a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.

Job Responsibilities

  • To coordinate the movement, preparation and delivery process of vehicles in an efficient and timely manner.
  • To allocate vehicles and distribute to each Sales Representatives accordingly
  • To distribute quotations and Pro-forma Invoices to Customers.
  • To follow up with approvals until the delivery process is completed.
  • To overlook the registration, installation of accessories and clearing vehicles for delivery.
  • To ensure that the Show Room is clean and a variety of vehicles are displayed at all times.
  • To assist with stock count preparation.
  • To maintain a clean, tidy, safe and presentable storage area, ensuring that housekeeping is maintained.
  • To ensure that all units received have no defect.
  • To complete regular inspections of all vehicles.
  • To place stock labels on all vehicles before the physical counts takes place.
  • To ensure that Demonstration Vehicles are always ready for demonstrations, that is, cleaned and filled with gasoline etc.
  • To assist where necessary with promotions, campaigns etc.
  • To prepare and submit required reports on a timely basis, usually by the 5th working day of each month.
  • To liaise with respective Sales Managers/Supervisors for the delivering of vehicles to Tobago for delivery purposes.
  • To ensure a superior level of customer service is provided at all times.
  • To handle any additional responsibilities as may be necessary from time to time to ensure the smooth operations of the department.

Education

  • Minimum of 3 CXC O’ Level Passes, inclusive of English A.

Experience

  • Minimum three (3) years driving experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be 25yrs and older.
  • Valid Trinidad & Tobago issued Driver’s License-Class 4 & 5 (Mandatory)
  • Valid Trinidad & Tobago issued Driver’s License-Class 2 (Non-mandatory).
