Job Summary:

  • To develop and implement strategies and objectives aimed at increasing market share and profitability of the Division. To manage the processes and operations of the Department, consistent with realizing the overall strategic objectives of the Division and by extension the Automotive Sector.

Job Description:

  • Participates in the Division’s strategic planning process.
  • Leads and manages the Sales team to facilitate the maintenance of a high performing team.
  • Develops sales plans in accordance with the Divisions strategic plan ensuring that plans are focused on obtaining the stated objectives.
  • Continuously monitors brand performance to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Evaluates promotional activities to determine the effectiveness of promotional efforts.
  • Conducts customer reviews and assesses the competition to ensure that Division maintains market share.
  • Monitors and controls financial budgets to provide updates on expenses and plan adjustments.
  • Manages cross-functional relationships of distribution, production and purchasing.
  • Provides insight to advertising and similar agencies on design and public relations campaigns and monitors the development, implementation and evaluation of such campaigns.

Requirements:

Qualifications:         

  • Minimum of an Undergraduate Degree in Business Management or Administration or a related field.

Previous Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in at least a Supervisory capacity/leading a team.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in sales & marketing roles.
  • Previous experience working in the automotive industry will be considered an asset.
