Job Summary:

The Showroom Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Showroom’s operations in accordance with overall Company policy

Job Description:

  • Manage staff activities, including performance management and disciplinary actions.
  • Provide ongoing training to ensure staff can professionally serve customers.
  • Hold weekly meetings to update staff on promotions and relevant information.
  • Monitor stock levels and conduct regular stocktaking to prevent losses and manage inventory effectively.
  • Handle the receipt and delivery of goods per company policies, ensuring proper checks are made before goods leave the showroom.
  • Maintain a clean and organized showroom and stockroom, ensuring merchandise is tagged and accounted for.
  • Prepare for stock checks and assist with monthly inventory counts, reporting any variances.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to maximize profitability and set goals for store teams to achieve targets.
  • Manage daily cash receipts and maintain cash controls.
  • Vet Hire Purchase contracts before submission to the manager.
  • Ensure timely customer service following the Customer Care Handbook and address service complaints through the Service Module.
  • Ensure the security of premises, products, personnel, and assets.
  • Comply with health, safety, security, environmental policies, and Group processes as outlined in the ANSA McAL Blue Book.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Training in Leadership/Supervisory Management would be considered an asset
  • A minimum of three (3) years of proven sales experience, preferably in the retail environment
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in a managerial capacity
