Job Summary

Receive, handle and dispatch goods at various locations in a safe manner

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct proper housekeeping on a daily basis.
• Verify physical stock count against relevant documents
• Ensure proper stock rotation of materials daily.
• Issue raw materials to requesting departments and complete documentation
• Conduct quality control inspections of all incoming materials.
• Receive in stock packaging materials from suppliers and Blow Moulding daily.
• Load and unload containers as required
• Handle chemicals on a daily basis.
• Assist in monthly and / or quarterly stock-taking.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate health, safety, security and environmental policies/ procedures.
• Perform any other duties as required by the job function.

Qualifications and Experience

• Basic numeric and literacy skills
• Forklift license
• At least one year experience driving forklift with an excellent safety record
• Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Good organizational skills  
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions
• Good numeric skills 
• Physical dexterity
