Position: Brand Manager

Job Summary: Acts as the brand champion and expert while ensuring brand integrity in all respects. The brand manager plans to implement and execute successful consumer and trade marketing programs (including brand strategic planning, market positioning, pricing, promotion, and advertising) and contribute to the annual brand planning process.


Job Description:

  • Executes and supports Marketing strategy, Brand positioning and Brand plans which integrates various consumer needs and develops relevant strategies to support growth per division (launches, seasonal campaigns, innovation) data insights targeted.
  • Monitors social media pages to ensure brand alignment/brand relevance and customer response.
  • Supports requests from all departments on as needed basis (Esp HR and CX Department Objectives).
  • Manage all stakeholders -Vendors/Suppliers and Content providers.
  • Manages campaigns and media schedules with appropriate range of agency direction/briefing, branding, media legacy with on-time delivery as needed.
  • Engages with international teams to ensure maximization of brand equity in local market.
  • Review of all internal and market data daily and advise Marketing Manager on any noticeable industry trends and recommendations for innovation, media legacy and driving market demand.
  • Manages A&P expenditure to the budgets agreed by Marketing Manager (weekly).
  • Competitive analysis tracking and industry tracking to recommend strategy approach including visits to competitors as well as internal showrooms/stores.
  • Ongoing brand engagement and development of brand knowledge for application of branding expertise and know how in current role.
  • Briefs and approves work undertaken by agency in alignment with brand standards, strategy and Marketing Manager.
  • Manages branding at locations in alignment with brand standards and promotional strategy.
  • Monthly Market Report -Competitors vs Internal & ROAS Return on Advertising Spend.
  • Monthly KPI Progress Report.
  • Develops and manages integrated social media schedule in conjunction with social media agency (Monthly & As needed).
  • Develops data – insights driven plans based on research and analysis to drive demand for gaps/ opportunities identified in the market (Quarterly & as needed).


Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business or Marketing
  • Three (3) years’ experience as a Brand Manager (Responsible for 4+ brands simultaneously)
  • Five (5) + years working experience within Marketing & Communications or Brand Management
  • Experience developing brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
  • Data gathering and analysis experience (is an asset)
