A high powered team from the ANSA McAL Group of Companies, recently met and held exploratory discussions with newly elected Prime Minister of Grenada, The Honorable Tillman Thomas.
The team from the locally based, regional conglomerate was headed by the Group’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Gerry Brooks, accompanied by Sector Head, Brewing and Chairman of Grenada Breweries Limited, Mr. Andrew Sabga, the ANSA McAL Group Strategic Trade Policy Advisor, Dr. Patrick Antoine, Managing Director of Grenada Breweries Limited, Mr. Ron Antoine, and Group Corporate Communications Manager, Mrs. Nicole Dyer-Griffith.
The meeting which took place at the Prime Minister’s Office, at the Ministerial Complex, Tanteen, St. George’s, focused on the deepening of Regional ties between the ANSA McAL Group and the Government and People of Grenada, with the Group’s COO, Mr. Gerry Brooks, discussing the current, future and potential investment opportunities between the two entities.
Mr. Brooks, spoke in detail about the ANSA McAL Subsidiary, Grenada Breweries Limited, currently Grenada’s largest manufacturing entity, whilst utilizing the opportunity to underscore the Group’s continued interest in seeking opportunities for development within the region.
ANSA McAL owns and operates the Grenada Breweries Limited, and is a major shareholder of Brydens and Minors [Grenada] limited.
The ANSA McAL Team was in Grenada for the launching of the Group’s historical book, titled ‘THE HISTORY OF THE ANSA McAL GROUP OF COMPANIES – 125 YEARS OF BUSINESS IN THE CARIBBEAN’. The Group also took the opportunity to present a signed copy of the book to The Honorable Prime Minister.
