ANSA McAL Group Executive Development Programme

The ANSA McAL Group  recognized and celebrated the achievements of the second cohort of graduands of the Group’s Executive Development Programme by hosting a graduation function on Monday 21st January, 2008, at 6:30p.m., at the Ballroom of the Cascadia Hotel and Conference Center, St. Anns, Trinidad.The graduands comprised thirty eight (38) key members of the management cadre from the ANSA McAL’s subsidiaries within Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados.

 The Executive Development Programme, a collaborative venture between the University of the West Indies and the ANSA McAL Group, had been specifically designed to meet the needs of the Group. The programme is an integral part of the continuing developmental intervention to ensure that the Group maintains its position as a High Performance Organization and is successful in attracting and retaining the best available manpower to lead its current and future operations locally, regionally and internationally.

 The programme drew on the Group’s existing expertise through the participation of the ExecutiveManagement Team as Coaches, Mentors and as members of an Executive Decision Team. This intervention, consistent with the Group’s strategic focus of being “The Best Place to be,  The Best Place to Invest” commenced in December, 2006, and was attended by twenty two(22)  of the Group’s local Managers, with eighteen (18) Managers in attendance from ANSA McAL (Barbados) Ltd.
