Carib Brewery honours top workers of 2010

Carib Brewery has honoured four of the company’s top performers naming them as Employees of the Year 2010. The employees who were recognised were acting bonded warehouse manager Kenny Sanchez, sales supervisor Amrick Jagdeo, plant inspector Thakur Persad Bhagwatsaran and export coordinator Stacey-Ann Jack. At a company luncheon held recently, these employees were each presented with a commemorative plaque, a premium Carib Brewery hamper, and a $2,500 ANSA McAL gift voucher.


A release from Carib said the four employees were thanked by their divisional heads and Carib’s managing director, Derek Waddell. The release quoted Waddell as saying: “These employees show what it is to be a true, solid and committed brand ambassador for Carib Brewery and live our values of leadership, integrity, insight, commitment and accountability.”


The statement added:



  • Kenny Sanchez demonstrated dedication and exemplary leadership which resulted in his  achieving unprecedented records and high accuracy on the job for three consecutive months.
  • Amrick Jagdeo increased company soft drink sales in 2010 as well as widening his customer base.
  • Thakur Persad Bhagwatsaran is a longstanding employee who consistently demonstrated excellent attendance and work record as well as a tireless commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Stacey-Ann Jack spearheaded activities in her department in 2010 with export operations achieving a 12 per cent growth in shipments under her co-direction.
