POSITION: Electrical Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent will provide technical expertise and management support to planning, maintenance, trouble-shooting, project and installation work on all plant electrical and instrumentation systems and associated facilities, in order to improve operational efficiency and maintenance continuity of plant operations.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

B.Sc in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering
At least five years experience
Knowledge of E & I test equipment, high voltage switch-gear and process control instrumentation
Strong PLC programming background
Experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC and Device Net Systems
Experience in planning and executing project-related works
Ability to supervise and administer a Preventative Maintenance Programme
Demonstrated Leadership ability
Good supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills
Fully computer literate with special competencies in spreadsheets, Microsoft projects, planning and database applications.
