UCSA Freixenet signed a commercial agreement with the company, Carib Brewery of Trinidad and Tobago, with a view to marketing a line of beer and malt in Cuba. The signing took place during the recently concluded 2017 FIAV International Fair of Havana. Speaking at the signing, Mr. Lluis Ortega Mateo, Director for the Area of Central America and the Caribbean, stated that this agreement will enrich the product offering of UCSA Freixenet. Carib Brewery is a subsidiary of the ANSA McAL Group of Companies and is an industry leader in the production of beverages within the region.
