Tobago has been abuzz for the last couple weeks after advertisements were heard on electronic media about an upcoming new product which would portray the pulse of the people.
That product is Tobago Today, a new weekly newspaper published by Guardian Media Ltd, which hits the streets today.
The paper is headed by Editor Camille Mc Eachnie and is based at the Tomco Building, Plymouth Road, Scarborough.
It costs $1 but today’s first edition will be sampled free.
The paper’s goal is to give Tobagonians a fresh new voice by presenting issues affecting the island in a way never done before.
Mc Eachnie and her homegrown team of journalists will be traversing the length and breath of the island to ensure all issues—in culture, education, the economy, health and sports to name a few—are covered from a Tobago perspective.
So Tobago look out—Tobago Today will be in your community soon.
