Guyana Ethanol/Sugar Project – Invitation for Expressions of Interest

 


These Expressions of Interest specifically invites suitably qualified and experienced consultants and firms to submit an Expression Of Interest for the following:




  • To conduct an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)



  • For the provision of a full spectrum of project management and construction over-sight services



  • For the provision of services to develop an Agricultural Plan



  • For the Engagement of Marketing Experts to contribute to a Feasibility Study



  • For the Engagement of a Turnkey Solutions Provider – Plant and Technical Services

As part of a feasibility study on a Sugar cane to Ethanol Project to be built in the Co-operative Republic of Guyana.


ANSA McAL is currently conducting an in-depth Feasibility Study for the development of one of the first and most significant ”green field” ethanol projects in Cooperative Republic of Guyana.  This agro-energy industrial project is proposed for development on approximately 110,000 hectares of virgin land in the Canje Basin.


It is envisaged that the ethanol plant shall have the capacity to process up to 2,000,000 tons per year of high sucrose sugar cane and to produce up to 40 million gallons of anhydrous ethanol per year.

Expressions of Interest with supporting documents as mentioned above shall be submitted under the cover of ‘Expression of Interest to conduct an Environment and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Ethanol Project in Guyana’ , addressed to:



All submissions should reach the address on or before April 30th, 2012.


An extension has been given until May 07, 2012.


ANSA McAL Limited reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the offers without assigning any reason whatsoever.


For reasons of commercial confidentiality short listed companies will be required to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in relation to the proposal. Submitting an EOI does not at this stage commit your company in any way to supporting this proposed project.
