Trinidad Publishing Company, a subsidiary of the ANSA McAL Group invites applications for the position of ICT MANAGER

Job Scope: Responsible for all IT functions throughout the Company including core IT concerns (infrastructure, architecture & standards-setting, application development & maintenance), business applications, and enterprise-wide concerns.  Reporting responsibilities will include ensuring proper documentation, development of redundancy and recovery procedures for all mission-critical systems and on IT value added. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum of two (2) years experience at management level, in the delivery of IT.
  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  
• Considerable knowledge of database management including systems implementation analysis, programming and report development capability.
  
• Security configurations firewall, SSL & TCP/IP networking in a cross-platform environment.
  
• Knowledge of graphics applications, and their file formats would be an asset.
  
• Knowledge in at least two (2) of the following areas would be an asset:
  – Web Based Development
  – Firewall Security Configuration
  – Networking

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATING ENVIRONMENT
The environment includes a network of Mac OS 8.5, OS X, Win 2003, 2000, XP.  UNIX, Linux. Remote communications.  Browser based applications. Operation is 20-hours per day.  Internet: FTP, published web site.
