Under the hood, the front-wheel-drive new Ford Focus has a new 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine that puts out 120 hp. Offering a five-speed manual transmission standard, with a six-speed automatic transmission that Ford has dubbed “Powershift” (technically, it’s a dual-clutch automated manual) .

SMART

Slip behind the wheel of the new Focus and you’ll feel more loved than ever before. With memory foam seats that hug you, you will never want to get out of your car. The designers gave the next generation Focus a low seating position, door panels seamlessly integrated with the console, and controls within easy reach and exactly where you expect them to be.
May it be to locate misplaced items or to mirror the driver’s mood as the lighting is switchable between seven interior accent colours adding colour to the instrument panel, cup holders and foot wells.

With a designer interior created by one of the classiest designers in fashion, DKNY, you can announce your arrival with style, confidence and sophistication.

The new European look and feel was designed with every type of driver in mind, given its sporty body lines and a shifting belt line that creates shoulders over the wheels. The quad beam halogen headlamps offer dramatic styling, a sleek look and extreme lighting when necessary. Also, the fog lamps increase your visibility in poor weather conditions. In the rear, vertical tail lamps add width for a premium feel.

CONCLUSION

Since the release of the first Ford Focus in the late 90’s, this compact car has been able to position itself as one of the top leaders in its segment.  From the first generation, to the new generation, the Focus continues to provide consumers the very best in fuel economy, in-car technology and overall value.

With the release of the 2012 model, Ford has delivered some very cool additions, incorporating a redesigned cabin with improved materials and new infotainment technologies.

Here are some quotes from some excited owners and potential buyers:

  • “The Ford Focus’s ambient light gave me a broad canvas of colour, showing where everything was located.  Room was abundant in the back for both passengers and gear, whether taking a trip to the beach or to mom’s house”.
  • “The leather-trimmed seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel added a degree of luxury to an already superior vehicle”.
  • “I was impressed with the Focus the first time I climbed inside, closed the door and was surrounded by a cockpit designed to the highest thrill of a first impression”.
