Speaking with private sector representatives Mr. Sabga III stated, “As a manufacturer, from beer and soft drinks, to paint and clay blocks, we believe that certain products should be locally and regionally manufactured, and we are ready to compete against the best-imported brands on price and quality. We have the right combination of people, technology, and capital to make this happen.”
Berger Paints Jamaica Ltd (BPJL) which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, remains the largest paint manufacturing entity in the English-speaking Caribbean, with 95% of the company’s products manufactured locally.
