Job Summary

Performs and oversees a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks involving the maintenance, repair and installation of Company’s equipment.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Service and maintain plant equipment on a daily basis to ensure optimum efficiency
   
2. Respond efficiently to call-outs when necessary
   
3. Perform installation and commissioning of new equipment and piping systems when required
   
4. Ensure adequate spares for plant and equipment are maintained
   
5. Supervise contracted labor
   
6. Conduct duties related in shut down preparation
   
7. Prepare reports as necessary
   
8. Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained
   
9. Keep a clear a proper log of daily activities
   
10. Act as Supervisor in the absence of the Maintenance Superintendent
    
11. Liaise with external customers/contractors and suppliers as necessary
    
12. Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety, security and ISO standards
    
13. Perform any other duties as required by the job function

Qualifications

1. MEEET/EEET Diploma or equivalent combination

Experience

1. At least 5 years minimum experience working in the mechanical and/or maintenance environment.
   
2. Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

1. Must possess good interpersonal skills
   
2. Ability to work independently or in a team
   
3. Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
   
4. A good safety track record
   
5. Knowledge of Pumps, compressors, piping systems, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics and related mechanical equipment
