On April 20th, 2018, Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Ltd (TATIL) and TATIL Life Assurance Limited hosted its annual agents’ awards ceremony entitled “Pinnacle of Success” at Central Bank Auditorium, Port of Spain.

The agents of TATIL and TATIL Life have proven outstanding performances in 2017. Their unwavering loyalty to the company and their commitment to their clients to provide solid financial advice and solutions enabled them to succeed in the tough business of insurance.

Delivering the feature address, Mr. Andrew Sabga, Chief Executive Officer of the ANSA McAL Group urged agents to prepare themselves to meet the challenges of the new regulatory requirements.

“Whilst implementation of the new legislation will take time, it is imperative that our agents begin the process of enhancing their skills to meet the licensing regime. You will have to fully acquaint yourself with this legislation as it requires agents to act with honesty and integrity when dealing with clients.

The consumer of today is more discerning. They are looking for value for money and quality advice”, Mr. Sabga said.

He went unto say, “TATIL has over the years demonstrated full faith in our agents and does not anticipate problems. Should they arise, support will be given”. Mr. Sabga encouraged the awardees to celebrate as the company saw its highest profit before tax above budget in 2017.

Agents were honoured in various categories: Long Service, Centurion Club, Diamond Club, Rookie of the Year, Top Agent – Motor an Non Motor to name a few.
