ANSA McAL Limited is seeking a Facility Supervisor is responsible for maintenance of the facilities and the supervision of technicians and contractors

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provides supervision to technicians and contractors daily
2. Ensures air condition, electrical, plumbing and lift systems are repaired as required
3. Schedules and dispatch jobs and ensure completion on a daily basis
4. Prepares pre-purchase requisitions documents for facility’s needs to ensure on time delivery of maintenance projects.
5. Provides training and advice to junior staff on the use and methods of application of tools as required
6. Organizes and chair weekly meetings with staff on progress of projects and HSE issues
7. Ensures all Job requests are attended to within 24 hours of receipt
8. Prepares Request for Services form daily and dispatch to appropriate Technician
9. Prepares and submits monthly reports to Facility Manager by the 5^th working day of the following month
10. Updates CMMS database/ logs of maintenance work status daily
11. Liaises with Tenants to implement maintenance requests and schedules.
12. Conducts appraisals on staff semi-annually (May/November)
13. Performs all other duties as required by the job function

General Qualification Requirements

Education

1. Certification in Facilities Management or Technician Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (MET)/ Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.

Experience

1. At least 3 years of supervisory experience in the field of Facilities Management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project).
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Effective supervisory and leadership skills
  • Health, Safety and Environment Codes and standards
