ANSA Motors Trinidad & Tobago marked a bold new chapter in the country’s automotive evolution with the launch of the Proton e.MAS 7 on June 6, 2025. The occasion was also commemorated by the unveiling of a modern EV-focused showroom at The City of Grand Bazaar – signaling a clear step toward cleaner, smarter mobility for the local market.

Arriving just five months after its global debut, the e.MAS 7 underscores ANSA Motors’ commitment to delivering advanced automotive innovation to local drivers. The upgraded retail space provides a tailored environment for customers to explore electric vehicle ownership, charging solutions, and aftersales support.

Established in 1983 as Malaysia’s first national automaker, Proton built a reputation for innovation, value, and national pride. In 2017, a strategic partnership with Chinese automotive giant Geely ushered in a new era – giving Proton access to world-class platforms and EV technology. That evolution led to Proton e.MAS, a sub-brand focused on electric mobility. Proton entered Trinidad & Tobago in March 2024 through ANSA Motors, introducing the X50 and mild-hybrid X90. Now, the e.MAS 7 builds on that momentum.

Inside, the e.MAS 7 features 33 storage areas, ambient lighting, a 15.4-inch 2.5K touchscreen, and 16 premium speakers, combining comfort with smart connectivity.

To complement the launch, ANSA Motors is rolling out a nationwide e.MAS 7 Tour, offering test drives at different locations giving customers the chance to experience EV driving firsthand.
