We are pleased to announce the appointment of Leon Ajodha as Group Head of HSE at ANSA McAL Limited, effective August 1, 2025. In this role, Leon will report directly to the Chief Shared Services Officer.

As Group Head of HSE, Leon will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing Health, Safety and Environmental policies to enhance the Group’s reputation and operational efficiency by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

He brings over two decades of expertise in Occupational Health and Safety, with thirteen of those years dedicated to driving safety excellence within the ANSA McAL Group. His career spans the private and public sectors, as well as multinational organisations, providing him with the opportunity to share his knowledge and best practices across the Caribbean and the United States.

Throughout his journey, Leon has achieved significant milestones, including being named Manufacturing Sector Performer of the Year (2015) and representing the Group in key regional and international initiatives. He has worked closely with the United Nations and AMCHAMTT to strengthen regional resilience and safety standards.

Leon holds an MBA (Distinction) in Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation from Anglia Ruskin University. He is certified as an Industrial Refrigeration Operator (Levels 1 & 2) and has served as a US OSHA Outreach Trainer. Additionally, he holds certifications as an ISO 9001:2015 Auditor and an ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor, with further qualifications in Managing Safety, Process Safety Management, Industrial Electrical Installation, and Security Management.
