Job Summary

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, leading, and executing channel marketing strategies to drive sales growth, improve market share, and enhance brand visibility across assigned trade channels. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and key customers to implement effective promotional plans, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure alignment with business objectives

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to achieve defined business objectives

Plan and execute trade promotions, activations, and programs across assigned channels

Identify opportunities to increase sales, distribution, and brand visibility

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs)

Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade initiatives and adjust strategies as needed

Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform decision-making

List itemManage assigned budgets, ensuring effective allocation and cost control

Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, promotional activities, and market insights

Support pricing strategy development in collaboration with management

Lead, coach, and manage the channel marketing team to maintain high performance standards

Drive execution of in-store visibility and trade marketing standards

Attend meetings, industry events, and trade engagements as required

Ensure alignment with company policies, standards, and objectives

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in Trade Marketing or Sales, with a strong track record of delivering results

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

In-depth understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and trade environments

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required

4–6 years of experience in the beverage, FMCG, or related industry is preferred

Experience managing budgets, trade promotions, and marketing campaigns

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

A reliable vehicle is required for this role
