We are pleased to announce the appointment of Padma De Lima as Managing Director, Guyana Breweries Inc., effective 1st October 2026. She will report directly to the Sector Head – Beverage.
Guyana continues to be a market of significant opportunity and strong growth for the Beverage Sector, and Padma will have the pleasure of leading a highly capable team on the ground as the business enters its next era of development.
She brings more than seventeen years of experience within the Group, having built a diverse career spanning consumer goods, construction, sales, marketing, and general commercial management.
Prior to her recent appointment as General Manager, ANSA McAL Distribution Inc., Padma served as Divisional Head, Food & Consumer, where she was instrumental in strengthening several of the company’s top-performing brands, driving sales growth, and deepening relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Throughout her tenure, she demonstrated commercial acumen, a strong customer focus, and an unwavering commitment to execution, all of which contributed significantly to the success of the Company. She has also been a respected leader and mentor, fostering strong relationships with customers, principals, colleagues, and business partners.
Padma’s appointment as Managing Director, Guyana Breweries Inc., represents the next step in a career marked by progressive leadership and strong commercial performance. She brings to the role a deep understanding of the Group, extensive commercial experience and demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, build long-term partnerships, and translate strategy into measurable results.
