Alstons Shipping and Royal Caribbean International create History at LABIDCO

Alstons Shipping Ltd, and Royal Caribbean International & Celebrity  Cruises recently created history by carrying out a first time major logistics project undertaking involving a  Cruise ship  at  LABIDCO’s port facility at  La Brea.

Arriving from Santos Brazil and en route to dry dock in  Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas, the 180 metres,  30,277 ton Luxury Liner  MV  Blue Dream  called at LABIDCO and completed a very successful 24 hour logistics operation.

Arrangements for Regulatory compliance, Port, vessel and crew joining, customs brokerage and haulage were all managed by Alstons Shipping. The operation was carried out with the full support of LABIDCO’s Management and Authorities including Customs and Excise, Port Health and Immigration and Marine Pilots.
