ANSA McAL (Barbados) Ltd recently hosted its inaugural Race day at the historic Garrison Savannah, Barbados, in celebration of that country’s 49th Independence. Mr. Nicholas Mouttet, President and Chief Executive, ANSA McAL (Barbados) in his address stated, “We have gotten really good support and everybody had a good time. It takes years to build tradition in horse racing and we are happy with the turnout.” The popular Winter Jockey challenge was part of the festival and Barbados reclaimed bragging rights from the Great Britain /Ireland counterparts. This was the third year that the Challenge was staged, with Barbados winning the first time in 2013 and Great Britain/Ireland winning last year.
