ANSA McAL Foundation boosts Guardian Neediest Cases Fund by $50,000

Chairman of the Guardian Neediest Cases Fund, Dennis Gurley, accepts a cheque for $50,000.00 from the Secretary of the ANSA McAL Foundation, Maria Superville-Neilson

The ANSA McAL Foundation has, for yet another year, made a contribution to the Guardian Neediest Cases Fund (GNCF).  A cheque for $50,000.00 was handed over to Mr Dennis Gurley, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the GNCF, by the Secretary of the Foundation.  Mr Gurley extended the Board’s sincere thanks to the Foundation for its continuing support, especially for this year, when the GNCF commemorates its 75th anniversary.

The Trustees who had gathered for their final meeting for 2009 also noted with appreciation the tremendous outpouring of goodwill by the public including friends of the Fund who supported their fund raising movie premiere: My Life In Ruins earlier this year. The movie premiere raised $63,958.40.

The ANSA McAL Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the ANSA McAL Group and promotes as its major project the Anthony N Sabga Caribbean Awards for Excellence Programme.
