Mrs. Cathryn Kelshall, Chairman – Dyslexia Association, receives a donation from Mr. Jason Ramdewar, ANSA McAL’s Premier Card Manager
The Dyslexia Association of Trinidad and Tobago is a volunteer organization which was formed in 1990 by a group of teachers and parents who were concerned about their dyslexic children. Since its inception the group has been able to train over four hundred teachers in specific methods of teaching the differently-abled. One of their major programmes that is geared towards teachers is their annual 3-week Teachers’ Training Course which is held every year in July.
For their 2013 Teachers’ Training Course the Dyslexia Association has received sponsorship from ANSA McAL. This contribution will go towards off-setting the costs that are incurred by the teachers who would like to attend the 3-week seminar but who may not be financially able to do so. ANSA McAL views this partnership as integral, as it encourages educators who strive to provide the best education possible to all students.
