Scope:
To manage the daily maintenance operations of all shared facilities on the compound by liaising with all factory/company managers to ensure that effective infrastructural support is provided to successfully support the core activities of the company. Also to work in collaboration with factory/company managers to ensure adherence to the company’s HSSE policies and in so doing provide a healthy and safe working environment for employees and minimize risk of liability to the company.
Responsibilities:
• Enforcing Company’s safety policies and procedures and taking corrective actions with regards to safety
• Promoting safety awareness throughout the compound
• Making recommendations on safety issues to Supervisors/Managers
• Serving on HSE Committee for all companies on compound
• Serving in any capacity that may be assigned arising from the Emergency Response Plan
• For all tenants of the ANSA McAL compound, supervise and coordinate all activities involved with expediting the following in a cost effective and efficient manner:
o Water supply – storage and supply
o Electrics – supply and upgrade
o Telephone – service and maintenance (This should be limited to main service from TSTT as distinct from custom switchboards, which will be the individual managements’ responsibility.)
o Drainage – maintenance
o Perimeter – maintenance and security
o Security – cameras, lighting, control points and staff
o Roof repairs – on individual buildings
o Plumbing – service and maintenance
o Roadways and pedestrian walk ways – maintenance and service
o Parking (cars) – control and coordination
o Container, supplier and delivery vehicle storage and movements – control and coordination
o Housekeeping – maintenance
o Accurate HSE and pedestrian safety signage.
Requirements:
• First Degree in related discipline will be an asset and training as evidence by certificate in HSE
• At least three (3) years experience in similar position.
• Any combination of qualifications and Experience will be considered
