Abel Building Solutions is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the position of Draughtsman.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
  Preparation of Shop Drawings for Projects undertaken by ABS
  
  
• 
  
  Responsible for creating a ‘Drafting’ database of all ABS products including shop front, curtain wall, cladding, windows and doors
  
  
• 
  
  Visit site and take measurements for production of drawings
  
  
• 
  
  Prepare fabrication drawings for installers
  
  
• 
  
  Assist Estimating/Project Co-ordination in the execution of duties
  
  
• 
  
  Prepare design concept for customers on ABS products
  
  
• 
  
  Prepare drawings for Omina Flooring System and costing
  
  
• 
  
  Any other related duties

Requirements:

• 
  
  National Technician’s Diploma in Drafting or  General Draftsmanship Certificate
  
  
• 
  
  4  CXC  ‘O’ Level subjects including Mathematics and English
  
  
• 
  
  3-4  years experience
  
  
• 
  
  Proficient in AutoCAD including 3-D presentations
  
  
• 
  
  Experience in Glass and Aluminum Industry will be an asset
