Kerron Commissiong is a local Powerlifting Champion. He’s only been competing in the sport for eight (8) years but already has several local, regional and international titles to him name. At the recently completed Caribbean Powerlifting Competition, which was held in St. Thomas, US. Virgin Islands, Kerron set new records in two categories.
ANSA McAL Ltd sponsored Kerron in the 6th Annual IPF/NAPF Caribbean Islands Powerlifting Championships where he set the National and Caribbean Championship Record in the Bench Press Category with a lift of 529lbs. He also shattered the Caribbean Championship Record in the Deadlift Category with a lift of 711 lbs, a record which was previously held by Kerron himself with 705lbs. in the Squat Category he achieved a new personal best record of 832.5lbs.
Overall Kerron was able to bring home the silver medal for his record breaking performance, a feat he says he would never have been able to accomplish without ANSA McAL’s support.
