LOGISTICS MANAGER

A leading distribution and marketing company and a wholly owned member of the ANSA McAL Group of Companies is seeking to recruit a Logistics Manager.

The position will be required to:

Ensure cost effective planning, organizing and directing of the logistics and supply chain management functions of the Company.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 
  
  B.Sc. Degree or equivalent academic qualification in Business Management.
  
  
  
• 
  
  Membership in a Professional Purchasing and Supply body (C.I.P.S. etc.).
  
  
  
• 
  
  At least ten (10) years experience at middle and senior management level in the area of Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
  
  
  
• 
  
  Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• 
  
  Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software packages.
  
  
  
• 
  
  Skills in Total Quality Management.
  
  
  
• 
  
  Able to carry out operational adjustments.
  
  
  
• 
  
  Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  
  
  
• 
  
  Effective communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  
  
  
• 
  
  Ability to prepare and deliver concise and informative reports.
