We are pleased to announce the following leadership transition within the Distribution Sector.

Effective June 1, 2026, Mr. Abdel Ali has taken on the role of Sector Head, succeeding Mr. Fazal Arman, who recently retired after a distinguished tenure with the Group. The appointment reflects the organisation’s commitment to succession planning and internal talent development.

Mr. Ali was appointed Sector Head Designate in January 2025, a role in which he has worked closely with Mr. Arman to ensure a seamless leadership transition. During this period, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the Distribution Sector for 2026 and beyond, with a focus on operational excellence, supplier and customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

In his previous role as Managing Director of AMCO, Mr. Ali led a comprehensive organizational transformation, positioning the company as a high-performance leader within the sector. Under his leadership, AMCO achieved remarkable improvements in operational efficiency, supply chain resilience, and stakeholder engagement, with supplier satisfaction levels consistently exceeding 90%. His ability to drive change and deliver measurable results has been widely recognized across the Group.

With over twenty-five years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, including nineteen years of dedicated service within the ANSA McAL Group, Mr. Ali brings a deep understanding of distribution dynamics, market growth, and excellence in supplier management. His career has been marked by a consistent history of leading complex organizations through periods of change and growth, delivering value to customers, partners, and shareholders alike.
