We are pleased to announce the appointment of Corey Knight as Managing Director of ANSA Merchant Bank (Barbados) Limited effective October 1, 2024.  He will report directly to the Managing Director of ANSA Merchant Bank Limited.

Corey is a highly motivated financial management executive with an established track record of building new business relationships, sustaining existing client relationships and increasing revenue. Formally educated in economics and management, he has cultivated a wealth of experience in a range of disciplines including small business, equity and debt financing, as well as retail and corporate banking over the last 25 years.

In his new role, he will assume direct oversight of ANSA Merchant Bank Barbados’ core banking functions, inclusive of its corporate and commercial banking, business banking and asset financing portfolios. He will also be tasked with leading the Bank’s executive team in the delivery of all strategic and operational objectives.

Formerly the Manager of Corporate Credit at Republic Bank Barbados, Corey’s belief is that the pursuit of professional success must be grounded in professional and personal integrity. This core value of integrity has allowed him to develop a reputation in the industry as a trusted and reliable partner and he is fully committed to building on the successes of AMBB and leading it towards future growth and success.

He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and has continuously reinforced his studies and skillset via the pursuit of various courses of study in the fields of financial management and planning, credit analysis techniques, loan structuring, corporate finance and much more.
