We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nicholas Mac Lean as Managing Director, ANSA Chemicals Limited and ANSA Chemicals Jamaica Limited, effective 1st September 2026. In this role, he will report directly to the Sector Head – Utilities.
With more than 19 years of leadership experience spanning the manufacturing and energy sectors, Nicholas joined the ANSA McAL Group in 2017. During his tenure, he has held a number of senior commercial and general management positions, most recently serving as Managing Director with responsibility for the Group’s regional Coatings businesses – ANSA Coatings Ltd., Berger Paints Jamaica Ltd., ANSA Coatings Grenada Ltd., and Berger Paints Barbados Ltd.
Throughout his career, Nicholas has demonstrated a strong track record of driving growth, expanding export markets, enhancing operational efficiency, and developing high-performing teams. He also brings valuable technical expertise gained through operational roles with multinational oilfield services companies.
In addition to his executive responsibilities, Nicholas serves on the Board of Berger Paints Jamaica Limited and has previously served as a Director and Board Member of the Trinidad & Tobago Contractors Association.
We would like to acknowledge his leadership and contribution to the Coatings business, and we are confident that he is exceptionally well suited to lead ANSA Chemicals Limited into its next phase of growth and development.
