Production and Operations Manager:

Scope:

The position requires that the incumbent oversee the plant production – the major aspects being to ensure operational consistency through the use of training and the development of SOP’s.  Coordinating the work of the operations staff with the shift supervisors to ensure plant duties are completed while maximizing quality of product, efficiency of production, maximizing production rates and minimizing down time. 

Duties:

• Work as a team with all departments seeking the accomplishment of overall company goals.
  
• Ensure that all regulations and laws are being met at all times.
  
• Ensure that all plant policies are implemented and followed. 
  
•  Maintain and enforce all safety programs and procedures. 
  
• Communicate production performance to the Plant Manager. 
  
• Work with the Plant Manager in the hiring of plant operations staff. 
  
• Carry out all directives from the Plant Manager. 
  
• Maximize plant efficiency through teamwork and innovation. 
  
• Maintain a team environment with other departments
