Catherine Navarro receives her award for 15 years of service from chief operating officer, Joe Bryan

Employees of sister company to Guardian Media Ltd, Standards Distributors Ltd held their staff lunch and long service award ceremony last month. The event was held at the Lions Civic Centre in Woodbrook. Standard Distributors Ltd boasts nine stores nationwide, and was one of the first companies established by ANSA McAL Group Emeritus, Anthony Norman Sabga.

Twenty-two employees with 15 to 20 years service were recognised for their dedication, invaluable service and commitment to the development of the company. As part of the festivities, employees played song games, sought treasure, modelled clothing, and gathered into groups to decide which team could best duplicate the sound of a designated animal. It was a night that all in attendance seemed to enjoy and cherish.
