STATEMENT FROM MR NICHOLAS MOUTTET, PRESIDENT AND CEO of ANSA McAL (BARBADOS) LTD

In response to enquiries from certain sections of the media regarding a circular to shareholders from the BHL Board, Mr. Nicholas Mouttet would like to make the following statement:

“We wish to advise ALL REGISTERED SHAREHOLDERS that ANSA’s UNCONDITIONAL offer of BBD$6.00 stands.

We are aware of the second Directors’ Circular from the BHL Board issued last evening, recommending to shareholders that they accept AMBEV’s BBD$5.60 offer.

In light of the fact that our offer represents a 40 cents uplift on AMBEV’s offer, we look forward to promptly receiving the Directors’ Circular in response to our amended offer of BBD$6.00”.

Our new offer is valid until December 4, 2015.
