
ANSA McAL Limited has announced the appointment of Troy Cadogan as Country Head, Guyana & Suriname, effective October 1, 2026, reinforcing the Group’s long-term commitment to one of the Caribbean’s fastest-growing economic regions.
In this newly established role, Cadogan will serve as ANSA McAL’s senior representative in both territories, providing strategic leadership, strengthening stakeholder engagement and supporting the continued growth, coordination and strategic development of the Group’s operations across Guyana and Suriname. He will report to the Group Chief Operating Officer.
The appointment reflects ANSA McAL’s confidence in Guyana’s future and its commitment to growing alongside the country as it continues its remarkable economic transformation.

As Country Manager, Cadogan will work closely with government agencies, regulators, business leaders, community partners and other key stakeholders to support ANSA McAL’s strategic priorities, foster partnerships and advance initiatives that contribute to national development. He will also oversee stakeholder engagement, corporate reputation, government relations and business development activities for the Group in Guyana.
The appointment comes as ANSA McAL continues to expand its presence and investment in Guyana through several operating companies and initiatives under its
“Growing with Guyana” platform, which highlights the Group’s commitment to supporting economic progress, community development and long-term value creation.
A respected business leader with more than 25 years of service within the ANSA McAL Group, Cadogan brings extensive experience in leadership, commercial operations, stakeholder management and business development. He most recently served as Head of External Affairs for Guyana while also leading ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. (AMDI) as Managing Director.
Throughout his career, he has built strong relationships across Guyana’s public and private sectors and played an important role in advancing the Group’s business interests and stakeholder engagement efforts. His deep understanding of the local business environment and proven track record of leadership position him well to guide ANSA McAL’s next phase of growth in Guyana.
