JOB SUMMARY

The Business Architectural and Design Lead is a key member of the Sales Team who will be providing expert advice on color schemes and finishes to residential and commercial clients while also managing key accounts in the architectural and design community. The ideal candidate will combine a passion for design with strong interpersonal and account management skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meets with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals.
  • Develops contacts and build relationships with new and existing customers to introduce new or alternative product lines and grow sales.
  • Conducts cold calls or visits to ensure prospective customers understand current products and services that would benefit their business.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with architects, interior designers, engineers and contractors.
  • Provides expert advice on color schemes, finishes, and product selection tailored to individual projects.
  • Conducts presentations and product demonstrations to key stakeholders.
  • Develops and presents customized design boards, color palettes, and mock-ups.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, design innovations, and emerging color themes.
  • Offers in-depth knowledge of the company’s product lines, including paints, primers, and specialty finishes.
  • Assists walk-in customers with their design and color choices.
  • Organizes and maintains color tools, sample displays, and consultation spaces.
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities to grow sales within the architectural and design sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Assists clients in navigating technical specifications and compliance requirements.
  • Monitors competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Analyzes sales and market data to identify areas for market share expansion.
  • Achieves sales growth through current customers as well as through consistent development of new business.
  • Promotes safety awareness and the development of a Safety Culture within the company by engaging in any Environmental, Health, Safety and/or Quality initiatives requested by the company.
  • Complies with the company’s health and safety policies as it relates to safe work methods, the use of personal protective equipment, proper storage of equipment/material and housekeeping.
  • Complies with Ansa McAL Group Policies, including maintaining & compliance with ISO and all other required standards.
  • Conducts any other related duties that may be assigned by Senior Management team or any other measures as highlighted in the Company’s Measures Card.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience in color consulting, interior design, or architectural sales.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, design principles, and architectural finishes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Established relationships with architects and engineers in the local and regional market will be a significant advantage.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and the ERP System
