
JOB SUMMARY
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll and AP functions while providing essential support to the Senior Accountant.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Payroll:
· Process payroll by verifying, calculating, and inputting employee pay and deductions, and generating appropriate documentation.
· Maintain the confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
· Follow up on payroll-related matters with employees and supervisors.
· Prepare statutory and other deductions, summarize and submit for payment.
· Prepare payroll reports for submission to Human Resources and Senior Management.
Accounts Payables:
· Manage the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions.
· Communicate with vendors to ensure timely payment of invoices.
· Perform vendor reconciliation.
· Generate monthly Accounts Payable reports.
· Ensure that the Account Payable Subledger and General Ledger are reconciled with no reconciling items older than one month.
· File company documents.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· BSc. Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· 1- 2 years in a similar position.
· Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
· Proven experience in payroll and accounts payable functions.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
