Established in 1986, ANSA McAL Chemicals Limited (AMCL) is the largest manufacturer and supplier of water treatment chemicals and services in the English-speaking Caribbean. The company has built a trusted reputation across the region for the production of Liquid Chlorine, Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda), and Sodium Hypochlorite (Liquid Chlorine Bleach), while also offering tailored chemical solutions for both industrial and municipal applications.

As a leading manufacturer, AMCL is the region’s largest producer of retail packaged bleach, producing over 2.2 million litres per month. The company owns four of the region’s most recognised bleach brands—Clean & White, Trichloro, Spotless, and Supreme—and is also contracted to manufacture several global and regional brands, including Clorox, Sparklean, Hi-Dee, Klene, Home, and Ajax. Its extensive distribution network reaches all countries within the CSME.

AMCL also supplies bulk bleach and liquified chlorine to municipal water treatment plants throughout the Caribbean, playing a vital role in public health systems across Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Kitts, and St. Vincent. The company’s membrane-grade Liquid Sodium Hydroxide (available in 32% and 50% concentrations) supports a wide range of applications—from resin regeneration and pH correction to bottle washing and soap manufacturing. With a storage capacity of approximately five million litres and a fleet of dedicated bulk tankers, AMCL ensures consistent and reliable delivery across the region.
