ANSA McAL Chemicals Limited is the largest Water Treatment Chemicals and Services provider in the English-speaking Caribbean. Established in 1986, AMCL has developed a reputation as a leading manufacturer and supplier of Liquified Chlorine, Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda) and Sodium Hypochlorite (Liquid Chlorine Bleach). Products and Services

ANSA McAL Chemicals Limited is the largest producer of retail packaged bleach in the English-speaking Caribbean. The company produces over 2.2 million litres of bleach per month and exports it to all countries in the CSME. In addition to owning the four leading brands in the region (Clean & White, Trinchloro, Spotless and Supreme), ANSA McAL Chemicals Limited also contract manufactures other leading brands such as Clorox, Sparklean, Hi-Dee, Klene, Home and Ajax. In addition, we also supply bulk bleach to water treatment plants and other industries, for use in their CIP/Sanitation programs.

We are also the largest manufacturer of Liquified Chlorine in the English-speaking Caribbean. As such, we play an integral part in the municipal water systems of many Caribbean countries, including Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St Kitts and St. Vincent.

We supply Liquid Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda) in 32% and 50% concentrations for a wide range of applications including resin regeneration for water treatment systems in industrial chemical manufacturing processes, bottle washing applications, as a sanitation product, for pH correction and as an ingredient in soap manufacturing process. We take pride in being able to provide the highest quality of Caustic Soda available in Trinidad – Membrane grade. Our storage capacity is approximately five (5) million litres and we have three (3) dedicated tankers to deliver bulk quantities to our customers.   We also supply a wide assortment of other chemicals and related services to the industry including scale prevention systems (boilers, cooling towers), potable water purification systems, wastewater engineering procurement and construction solutions, manufacturing line lubrication systems, food and beverage cleaning and sanitation chemicals among others.

Established in 2020 under the umbrella of ANSA McAL Chemicals Limited, ANSA Chemicals Jamaica Limited (ACJL) swiftly emerged as the foremost provider of Liquified Chlorine, Caustic Soda Pearls, and bulk Sodium Hypochlorite (Liquid Chlorine Bleach).  

They have earned a reputation for being a responsive and dependable service solutions provider within the Water Treatment sector.  Their workforce comprises exclusively of Jamaican nationals, and ACJL currently holds the exclusive position of chlorine supplier to the National Water Commission (NWC).  

This strategic partnership plays a pivotal role in supporting the NWC’s commitment to achieving United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #6, dedicated to ensuring universal access to clean water and sanitation.
